Happy 30th Birthday Ann!

Friday night our good friend Ann DeMarco was surprised with a 30th birthday party. She thought she was just going to the Dairy Queen for her birthday. As Cara and Ann were supposedly on their way to meet their mom at the DQ, their mom called them to say she thought she forgot to blow out the candles lit in her windows. So she needed them to run by and blow them out. Little did Ann know we were all waiting for her! The look on her face was priceless. She was totally surprised and thrilled to see everyone. Later that night, Cara told me Ann was still set on going to the DQ and asked a couple of friends if they were coming with. Too cute! Needless to say, she had a blast and I'm pretty sure she forgot about going to the DQ.

Christmas Pics

Okay, so I know I haven't been the best at keeping my blog updated lately, but between the holidays and going back to work, there just hasn't been time. Looking back at these pictures made me realize just how busy we were these past couple of weeks. Several friends and family members came in from out of town so we spent time with them every chance we could. We had a great first Christmas with little Cade. He got lots of new toys that he will soon be able to use! I knew I was getting old when I was just as excited if not more to open his gifts as I was my own. It's amazing how fast you can forget about yourself when you have a child. Here are some of the great pictures I got over the holiday.

Cade loves his new playmat from Uncle Matt and Aunt Jess. He just smiles and giggles at it all the time. He is really enjoying his new toy!

Picture with Santa!

Here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving weekend that I have been wanting to post but never got around to doing.

Cade and Adyson had their picture taken with Santa. They did great-Cade slept through it and Adyson just didn't know what to think! We had a great time shopping and having lunch with Meg, Adyson, Grandma Pat and Grandma Gaye! It was quite an afternoon!
Here is Cade with his Godparents Aunt Jessica & Uncle Matt (my brother and sister-in-law). We asked them to be Cade's Godparents shortly after he was born and they accepted! Who wouldn't, right? :) Aunt Jessica joined the Catholic church earlier this year and we are so glad she did!! They are going to be great role models for our little Cade. We hope to get him baptized right after the first of the year.

Cade found a comfy spot on Uncle Matt to rest on.

Dinner with the Guthmans

A week or so ago we got together with the Guthmans. Here are a couple pics that I took on our adventure out to dinner at Hunan. It must have been family night because Avery and some other kids were having a shouting contest every once in a while. It was too cute. Cade didn't do so well, so Aunt Brooke had to give him a mother's touch and settle him down. She did great and is going to be such a great momma!
