Okay, A LOT more vacation pics, but I just couldn't choose. So here they are. I love the 2nd one. It is of Cade and my friend Tonya's little sis Cortney. She came along and was a great help with the kids. She really kept Cade and Parker entertained! In the 2nd pic, he is sitting down on the beach just like her. It was too funny. We all had a great time. The boys did their share of golfing and us girls did our share of shopping by picking up matching handbags at the shops downtown and almost buying the entire stock of monogrammed bags from this little kiosk (sp?) at the mall in Knoxville. What an awesome idea! We ordered like 11 bags between Tonya and I, and 3 hours later, they were done. We're thinking of opening one up of our own in C'dale to run during our spare time :) Yeah right. Maybe someday! Anyways, when we got home from the trip, Cade asked about Bobby, Deeba (Tonya), and Cee Cee (Cortney) for several days straight. I don't think he knew what to do after being with them for 9 days!

Fun in the sun at Myrtle Beach!
Just a few pics from my phone and Tonya's camera that I thought I'd post to give everyone a little peek on what we've been up to! We're having a blast and definitely soaking up some sun and relaxation. The boys have played golf a couple of times while the girls and kids hit the pool. More pics to come when we get home! Enjoy!

Cade got this muscle man thing from Parker. Only Cade does it with a big grin and Parker does it with this "I'm gonna whoop some ass" look. It's too funny! If you could only see him do it in person! Tonya will have to post a video someday.

Just a little painting going on...
So while we were on the road to Myrtle Beach and the first couple of days that we've been down here, our house was being painted. Great timing, huh! Here are just a few pictures my mom sent me via email. It's all coming together just how I had hoped, but I am still a bit nervous to see it for the first time in person. A big thanks to my parents and bro and sis-in-law for all their help and last minute trips to the paint store! I don't know what we would have done without you!
The baby-to-be's room. A very light cream color. Same as our bedroom (for now). I'm still hoping for a little more color in our master bedroom, but just couldn't decide on anything at the moment.
Above is the foyer/hall in a tan color. Front door is to the far right.

We took Cade to his first Cardinal baseball game last weekend. We got there an hour early and were able to make it to the 7th inning. We were quite impressed. We were totally convinced Cade would be all over the place. But he just sat there on each of our laps and watched the game, crowd, and big screen. He was very pleasant and loved the ballgame food! He would have lasted even longer I believe, but we decided it was getting pretty late and ready to head home. It was a good time.

Court's birthday dinner
Cade develops a love for trains
Cade has recently developed quite a love for Thomas the train and friends. He is following in his older cousin Owen's footsteps. They had a blast playing with them while Owen was visiting and when Owen left and took all his trains with him, we decided Cade would need some of his own. So the first purchase of the Thomas train set was Thomas & Percy trains. He loves Percy and calls him "Peesy". It's too cute. Check out the "choo-choo" lips in the third pic.
