Notre Dame 35 - Nevada 0

This weekend Ryan and his brothers experienced what a Notre Dame football game is like and all that comes with it. The family surprised Kody with the tickets for his 16th birthday in June and this weekend they all finally got to go. It was opening day and the three of them were like a 5 year old on Christmas morning. Just totally got. I was even told it brought tears to his eyes when they started the fight song! How touching. They had a great time and even thought of me during this entire experience and brought me a shirt! Happy Birthday Kody! "touchdown Jesus" - which can be seen from the field
Apparently the crowd does "push-ups" with each other whenever they score a touchdown...here is Kody doing his :)

EARTH TO BLOGGERS!

Just a little shout out to my fellow, or should I say, EX-fellow bloggers who have not updated their blog since May, June, and July. You know who you are. Seriously, you people act like you have a lot going on or something :) haha! If so...blog about it! I know we would all love to see those precious faces!

Sweet surprise

So I got in my car Thursday morning and found this...

It is the newest cd by the one and only Gavin Rossdale. My hubby surprised me for my birthday a few days early with it and a sweet little note. My birthday is not actually until Tuesday, but he knows I like to drag it out as long as possible. I was a huge fan of Gavin's when he was in the band Bush. Had just about every song memorized and loved every one of them on their first album. We then saw him in concert when we went to Vegas a couple months ago and he sang both his new and old hits. It was awesome! The perfect combo. Anyway, just wanted to say a big thank you to my all my boys for this sweet little surprise.

LOVE HIM!!!

Girls weekend in NYC

So this is what I've been doing (publishing this post) for 3 days in the midst of getting my house back together and spending time with my babies! We had a blast and did pretty well for 3 chicks in the city! There was a lot to see but we managed to do it all in just 2 and a half days. Thanks girls for a wonderful and most memorable time! Love you both!

the firestation from Ghostbusters and Hitch

The "inspiration" to the fountain in "Friends". The producers felt it was too overpowering and would overshadow the cast, so they had a smaller version built and filmed it in LA.

Team Fox

My brother found these wristbands from the Michael J. Fox Foundation website for Parkinson's Research. He bought them for the family and we are all sporting them to raise awareness of the disease. My dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's a few years ago and has been doing great due to the vast improvement of Parkinson's treatment. Please take a minute to become more familiar with the disease by visiting the MJFF website, http://www.michaeljfox.org/. With a leader like Michael, this "team" is bound to find a lasting cure! We are so proud of you daddy!
