Party Like Its 1999...

This past weekend was my 10 year class reunion. I can hardly believe I have been graduated from high school for TEN YEARS! It was a great time and overwhelming to say the least. It was impossible to catch up on what everyone has been doing in those 10 years. The reunion was held at the Stadium Grille (new restaurant in Cdale). There's a bar and a great patio area which we pretty much filled. I didn't get as many pics as I would have liked, but here are a few.

Apple Festival!!!

This year I had the pleasure of taking my babies to watch the Apple Festival parade from start to finish for the first time! I think it was the first time in many years that I was able to watch it all myself as well! Cade and I were in the parade the last couple of years so this was a new adventure to just sit back and enjoy the floats, etc. Maddy and Cade had a blast catching all the candy! It was a lot of fun, but I must say it just wasn't the same without my brother and family and of course, Megan! I can probably count on one hand the amount of times Megan and I have not been together during Apple Festival weekend! :( I think my mom was having a hard time with the absence of my brother as well :) He couldn't be there in person, but they were on the phone doing all they could to make signs, etc. for the queen contestants. And they pulled it off wonderfully! Good job Matt-Matt!

DQ State Fair

Here are some pics from the night we attempted the fair. We had intentions of meeting up with some friends whom Cade would ride rides with, but it turned out he didn't care about it. So instead, we stopped by the petting zoo- which he loved. He was ecstatic and told all the "baby deer" and "baby horsies" hi and bye. He missed out on some good rides but had a pretty good time just hanging out with the animals :)

Giving mommy a break...

The other day Cade decided he wanted to help out and feed his baby brother. Here are a couple of cute pics I got of the event :)

This one is too funny. He is letting the air out of the bottle... He takes good notes!

Random pic...beautiful flowers from my beautiful friend Courtney for my b'day!

Men in black
Cash's little onesie in this pic has a guitar and the name CASH on the front. His Auntie Meg got him this. I need to take a pic of just it someday and post it. It's too cute!

Notre Dame 35 - Nevada 0

This weekend Ryan and his brothers experienced what a Notre Dame football game is like and all that comes with it. The family surprised Kody with the tickets for his 16th birthday in June and this weekend they all finally got to go. It was opening day and the three of them were like a 5 year old on Christmas morning. Just totally got. I was even told it brought tears to his eyes when they started the fight song! How touching. They had a great time and even thought of me during this entire experience and brought me a shirt! Happy Birthday Kody! "touchdown Jesus" - which can be seen from the field
Apparently the crowd does "push-ups" with each other whenever they score a touchdown...here is Kody doing his :)

EARTH TO BLOGGERS!

Just a little shout out to my fellow, or should I say, EX-fellow bloggers who have not updated their blog since May, June, and July. You know who you are. Seriously, you people act like you have a lot going on or something :) haha! If so...blog about it! I know we would all love to see those precious faces!

Sweet surprise

So I got in my car Thursday morning and found this...

It is the newest cd by the one and only Gavin Rossdale. My hubby surprised me for my birthday a few days early with it and a sweet little note. My birthday is not actually until Tuesday, but he knows I like to drag it out as long as possible. I was a huge fan of Gavin's when he was in the band Bush. Had just about every song memorized and loved every one of them on their first album. We then saw him in concert when we went to Vegas a couple months ago and he sang both his new and old hits. It was awesome! The perfect combo. Anyway, just wanted to say a big thank you to my all my boys for this sweet little surprise.

LOVE HIM!!!
