Thanksgiving Crafts with the Kids
A few weekends ago, we got together with some friends and did turkey shirts with the kids. It turned out to be a lot of fun and the kids really enjoyed it! Except for Cade and Jace. They wanted nothing to do with sticking their hand in paint! It was funny and kind of a bummer, but we made do! And thanks girls for letting me take your pictures at
9 am on a Saturday morning! You are troopers! :)
Avery's handmade shirt. She pretty much did it all herself! Too cute.

Happy Halloween!
Saturday was busy for the Brooks household. A small get together for Cade's 3rd birthday that morning and then trick or treating in mommy's old neighborhood that night! He had an exciting but exhausting day! Thanks to everyone who helped make it special for him! Oh, and Cade decided he was over being in his Buzz costume for the day so we quickly threw together his football gear and trick or treated as a football player instead. He had had enough of Buzz after being in it all. day. long. Tonight he was back to being his usual Buzz. Go figure.

Brothers
Usually, it's the younger brother wanting to be like the older one. However in this case, Cade wanted to be like Cash. So luckily I found a very similar outfit for him. He was ecstatic when he saw it. He is wanting to be like Cash in a lot of ways and even had Cash's baby food a few times. Whatever works.

Cookie Time!!!
I had the day off this Monday so we decided to have the Dunnings over to bake cookies. It was a lot of fun (and messy), but well worth it! The kids got into it and we ended up with some cute and tasty pumpkins and leaves. After looking at how many pictures I took, you would never know we got any cookies made.
