A shower for baby Lauren....

This past Thursday evening I helped give a baby shower for one of my dearest friends, Melissa. She is due with baby girl Lauren Olivia around September 10th! You could definitely tell by the people and the gifts that surrounded Melissa, that little Lauren is going to be very well loved...and spoiled! :) It was a wonderful evening and a start to something very special for Melissa. I know she will never forget it. Here's some pics of the night and mostly of all the little details that we are so proud of! :) haha. A big thanks to M's friend Katie for all the great pics!

Logan

This is my nephew Logan, who is 11 months old. The boys were playing in the yard and we managed to catch some cute pics of LJ!

And so it begins....

Cade had his 1st round of golf recently when we went to my brother's up North. He had a blast from what I hear and is ready to get him a real set of clubs! haha :) it won't be long, i can tell you that much! Grandpa and Uncle Matt came along too. I wish I would have taken a pic of all four of them!

Wicked weekend with co-workers

So I finally took my besties from work to see Wicked for the first time! My boss (far right) has seen it once before, but the rest of them wanted to know what all the hype was about. Turns out they liked it! We went to dinner at PF Changs afterwards and then out on the town! It was a great trip and amazing that we can spend an entire workweek and then some together! :)

Trip to Iowa

We recently visited my cousin Sarah and her family up north for her birthday. My mom, Sis-in-law and Cade all joined me and we had a great trip! It was fun hanging out with them and letting the boys play. The best part was the all-day, all-girl, no-kid shopping trip!!! Cody was a trooper, or maybe just a "dad/uncle", and watched all 3 boys for us! Thanks again Cody! Little Cashers stayed home and bonded with his daddy. They had a relaxing weekend from what I hear :)

Oh, and let me explain the Spiderman theme...Sarah is supposed to make a Spiderman birthday cake for a friend of theirs. So she was going to practice by making herself a Spiderman cake. Her mom sent us up with Spiderman plates, napkins, gift wrap, etc. and then Sarah decides she would rather just relax on her birthday than stress over a cake. The Spiderman party remained minus the cake. But we did surprise her with Larry's cookies!!!

On the way back we met up with my brother and nephew to drop off Aunt Jess and pick up my dad. So we had to get a quick Logan fix and take a few snapshots at.....Wal-Mart.
