Christmas morning

Husband's side of the family
Below is Cade telling Cash to come and see what Santa got him...it was too cute. And yes, what you see in front of Cade is truly all they got from Santa. I asked Santa to cut back this year being that Cash was probably more interested in the wrapping and Cade was excited enough just to see everyone that morning. They each got their own little drum, Cash a mailbox, Cade the Yo Gabba Gabba characters and then a fishing pole set for them to share. Oh yes, and a video. I figured Santa has PLENTY of years ahead of him to go "all out" :) And they were all smiles that morning anyway...which is all I could have asked Santa for myself.

Santa left Nintendo Wii for daddy- although it probably should have had Cade's name on it. He loves it (as I hear most kids do). Finally - a way to play sports in the house and not get a ball bouncing in the sink or on the stove!

Cash watching the boxing moves or the golfing techniques, I'm not sure which. Whenever the boxing game is on he swings his arms back and forth while sitting like this on the floor. Probably not a good game for him and his brother to be watching or playing.
Cade and Grandpa
One of my most thoughtful gifts ever! My step father-in-law (above) made this for me for Christmas and I absolutely adore it. I was almost in tears. I just had to get a quick shot of it in the garage but we ended up moving it right below our door to the inside (rather than below the stairs as shown here). And it looks great! We will cherish this for a very long time! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

That's all for now...pictures of Christmas afternoon & a special gift for Cade are still to come!
