Holidays

I truly cannot believe I still have Christmas pictures to post, but between the holidays and my baby's 1st birthday it's hard to keep up. My baby turned 1, we had Christmas with the fams, and then BOOM! - into the new year we went. My cousin from Texas came to visit in the meantime and it seems like we have been going nonstop ever since. So here's some of the best of our holidays at my moms. When I say some, i mean A LOT! Everytime a new baby comes into the fam, tack on 10 more pics :)

More birthday pics

Cash's 1st birthday

These are some pics from Cash's first birthday party. We just had some close family over since it was Christmas week and all. Have a feeling we will be doing that for a while. Poor Christmas baby! But we still had fun!

Anxiously awaiting...

Just finished the book and am now anxiously awaiting for the movie to come out Feb. 5th! Delightful little story...guess I will push myself through to see Channing Tatum star in the movie. LOL! :) This is going to be the longest 2 weeks ever!!!

Cash is walking!

Cash has finally mastered walking and has done really well. He seems to be able to get up from a sitting position and walk a lot faster/better than Cade did at first. It's so strange seeing our baby walk all over the house! A lot of fun though. These kids are growing too fast! Also, Cash had his 1 year appt not long ago (we are about a month behind on our appts). He weighed in at 27 lbs and 31 in. long!

Batman Cade

When we got to Grammy Gaye's house, Cade found that Santa had left yet another present for him! A certain little elf named Melissa, made a Batman cape and cuffs especially for him. It was too cute and he absolutely loves it! The "eyes", as he calls it, were cut out at the last minute by his clever Uncle Matt from leftover fabric my mom had. We put this on Cade's list when I discovered my cousin's little boy, Owen had asked Santa for a similar cape, only his is "Super Owen". I just knew that when Cade saw O with one, that he would have to have one as well. And sure enough, as soon as Owen got his cool costume out, I could see the look of pure JEALOUSY through my 3 yr old's eyes. Cade is always admiring his older cuz's toys, etc. and therefore next year, I am just going to tell Santa to make that a double order on O's Christmas list!
And the basketball outfit is his latest fashion "must-have". That is pretty much all his wardrobe consists of right now- basketball jerseys and pants. Guess he can't decide if he wants to be a basketball player or a Superhero! So why not both?! The tough decisions of a 3 yr. old...
Isn't it adorable?! He walks around telling people "I Batman Cade!"
Revealing his identity and telling Grammy not to be scared, "its just Batman Cade!"

Thank you Santa and his secret elf!!! You made my little boy's day and then some!

This one's for you Melissa!

Cash and his "beautiful mommy" on Christmas morning ;)

Christmas morning

Husband's side of the family
Below is Cade telling Cash to come and see what Santa got him...it was too cute. And yes, what you see in front of Cade is truly all they got from Santa. I asked Santa to cut back this year being that Cash was probably more interested in the wrapping and Cade was excited enough just to see everyone that morning. They each got their own little drum, Cash a mailbox, Cade the Yo Gabba Gabba characters and then a fishing pole set for them to share. Oh yes, and a video. I figured Santa has PLENTY of years ahead of him to go "all out" :) And they were all smiles that morning anyway...which is all I could have asked Santa for myself.

Santa left Nintendo Wii for daddy- although it probably should have had Cade's name on it. He loves it (as I hear most kids do). Finally - a way to play sports in the house and not get a ball bouncing in the sink or on the stove!

Cash watching the boxing moves or the golfing techniques, I'm not sure which. Whenever the boxing game is on he swings his arms back and forth while sitting like this on the floor. Probably not a good game for him and his brother to be watching or playing.
Cade and Grandpa
One of my most thoughtful gifts ever! My step father-in-law (above) made this for me for Christmas and I absolutely adore it. I was almost in tears. I just had to get a quick shot of it in the garage but we ended up moving it right below our door to the inside (rather than below the stairs as shown here). And it looks great! We will cherish this for a very long time! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

That's all for now...pictures of Christmas afternoon & a special gift for Cade are still to come!

Cash's Big Boy Chair

My baby is now the big "1" so he got his own chair for his big day. These chairs are quite comfy...I know from experience. I catch my husband and I trying to SQUEEZE into them at times! Anyhow, I thought I'd share these with ya!

Happy New Year!

So its not exactly New Year's Eve pics or anything. I'm a little behind on posts and came across these fun pics of us and the boys. Never can quite get that full family shot at home so these will have to do! :)
