Batman Cade

When we got to Grammy Gaye's house, Cade found that Santa had left yet another present for him! A certain little elf named Melissa, made a Batman cape and cuffs especially for him. It was too cute and he absolutely loves it! The "eyes", as he calls it, were cut out at the last minute by his clever Uncle Matt from leftover fabric my mom had. We put this on Cade's list when I discovered my cousin's little boy, Owen had asked Santa for a similar cape, only his is "Super Owen". I just knew that when Cade saw O with one, that he would have to have one as well. And sure enough, as soon as Owen got his cool costume out, I could see the look of pure JEALOUSY through my 3 yr old's eyes. Cade is always admiring his older cuz's toys, etc. and therefore next year, I am just going to tell Santa to make that a double order on O's Christmas list!
And the basketball outfit is his latest fashion "must-have". That is pretty much all his wardrobe consists of right now- basketball jerseys and pants. Guess he can't decide if he wants to be a basketball player or a Superhero! So why not both?! The tough decisions of a 3 yr. old...
Isn't it adorable?! He walks around telling people "I Batman Cade!"
Revealing his identity and telling Grammy not to be scared, "its just Batman Cade!"

Thank you Santa and his secret elf!!! You made my little boy's day and then some!

Santa may not have brought a lot but combined with all the other gifts they got, the boys made a haul! Batman Cade was too cute! Thanks, Aunt Melissa!

I loved the whackjob photo op! Hilarious! Loved the opportunity to do the cape! So glad he loved it and his mommy had faith in me to complete it!
